This research article investigates the effects of formative assessment on students' learning abilities and academic performance. The study aims to examine efficacy different approaches in enhancing student engagement, selfregulation, metacognitive skills. Employing a mixed-methods approach, quantitative qualitative data collected from diverse group college students. Various strategies, including feedback, self-assessment, peerassessment, goal setting, were implemented classroom. analysis focused evaluating impact these practices outcomes, such as achievement, motivation, self-confidence. Complementary this, was gathered through interviews classroom observations gain deeper insights into perceptions experiences related assessment. findings highlight pivotal role fostering abilities.
